Bridge - our village, not a suburb!
ConserveBridge is an organisation of residents of Bridge village, in Kent, who wish to maintain the distinctive identity of Bridge as a unique rural village within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Our objective is the conservation and enhancement of the natural environment, the protection of the village and its environment from urban sprawl, and thoughtful, consultative planning for the future.
We recognise that planning and development is a complex issue. A vast amount of work has been carried out and knowledge accumulated within Bridge village in recent years, yet inevitably it is not easy to locate all of the information when you need it and some inaccurate information inevitably circulates. This site aims to address this need by making accurate information from multiple sources available in one place. We have added links to many important reference sources and provided commentary on some of the key issues.
Our aim is that folk who live here, like us, are better informed ahead of important decisions affecting the future of Bridge.
